Um... what?
Infusion only helps vs. Mursaat and there are no Mursaat in Cantha so it doesnt really matter.

Questions about what is "best" are so annoying...everything is pretty much equal, and you can find all armor types in Cantha that you can find in Tyria. The reverse is not true of the new Cantha armors, which can only be found in Factions.
The main question that you should be asking yourself is which armor type works best for your play-style, and which skin looks the best to you...every player has different opinions on this, and no skin is "better" than another.
Oh, and I have infused my new Cantha armors by simply going back to Iron Mines and doing the infusion run...

As far as I know, when they changed 85 to 90 they did it on both Cantha and Tyria. Only reason yours is still 85 is because you still have the old version. Either wait til they decide to add in the free change from 85->90 (I think it'll be an NPC, not sure..) or if you don't want to wait, buy the new set.

armors that had AL 85 now have AL 90, and this is at any armor crafter, Canthan or Tyrian.
Note: The 100 armor is the worse of the new armors, but it seems it might become as popular as sundering mods.

If by '100 armor' you mean the Sentinel's set, 100 base AL with -20 AL if below 13 str, how is it worst of the armor available?
Unconditional AL100 against all types for the build I use on my W, since there's no hexes that reduce the player's attributes :P

For starters, not every warrior build uses 13 strength, especially in PVP. Compared to gladiators, you are trading 7 energy for an extra 20 armor vs elemental. That is an absurd trade. No one in their right mind would trade 7 energy for 20 extra armor vs elemental.
Gladiators with Knights' boots and Stone Skin Gauntlets is still the best armor set you can get.

The build I use is pure adrealine with Battle Rage, so lack of energy doesn't hurt a single bit. Battle Rage needs high strength anyways, so it comes as a bonus. No downsides at all for the build I use, and I've used it pretty much from the beginning.
Granted I just do PvE, but for that purpose, Sentinel's + part of knights would be the best all-around. So it's not totally worthless as it has it's uses where it outshines everything else.

Kaguya what we're trying to say is that there's practically no warrior build that needs 13 strength. Thus, to gain +10 armor vs elemental you make a very serious compromise towards your attribute distribution. The reason people don't like sentinels is that they prefer to kill something faster and be flexible towards their build , rather than winning +10 armor ONLY vs non physical and limiting your character as you're "locked" with 13 str.
Noone is trying to tell you that you shouldn't use it, and I'm sure there will be many people who like to see 100 in their armor stats, but, for example, I like to make some use of : swordmanship/axe/hammer mastery, possibly tactics, possibly secondary profession attributes, and the 13 str excludes it. I am not willing to weaken my damage output, I prefer to kill something faster than sit and take hits with 100 armor for longer. Also, I prefer to make some use of my (whatever) secondary profession.
If it works for you by all means use it, but understand why people don't want to throw in garbage 99% of warrior builds just to "win" the occasional +10 armor.
